Of all the villains in the Transformers universe, Unicron stands alone as the most colossal AND the most evil. With no loyalty to anyone other than himself, Unicron swallows up entire planets with ease in his never-ending search for more. His massive size and power makes him more than a match for the combined strength of the entire Autobot army, a lethal opponent without equal. Unicron’s voracious appetite can never be satisfied… he is driven to continue to consume everything until there is nothing left to devour.
There is a reason Jesus tells us that it can be incredibly difficult for those with the greatest earthly riches to enter the kingdom of heaven… very rarely do those with the greatest power and resources become the most benevolent. Instead, those with the most are typically filled with an insatiable hunger for more, and that desire takes precedence over all their other pursuits in life… including their eternal well-being. It can be hard to understand why God doesn’t always choose to shower us with financial blessings when we are going through hard times, but it is His protection of our eternal souls that limits His provision to only what we need rather than what we want. The Lord has more resources than we’ll ever require, but He lovingly chooses to supply us with “daily bread” to prevent us from becoming dependent on anything to sustain us other than Him.
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Matthew 19:23-24
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11
