“Golden”: Piercing the Darkness by Combining our Light

The trio of hunters known as “Huntrix” in K-Pop Demon Hunters are certainly formidable singers and warriors individually, but as a collective unit they are virtually unstoppable—both on stage and in combat. From building songs around intricate three-part harmonies to complementary combat styles, as long as they stuck together, they could easily defeat opposition that outnumbered them by the dozens. That is why the strategy to defeat them was designed around driving a wedge between them, shattering their greatest weapon: unity. Their strength was exponentially multiplied by working together, and as long as they focused on operating as a team, they could overcome even the most overwhelming odds.

There is a reason the devil seeks to create discord in the body of Christ: he knows that as we gather together in obedience to the Lord and work in harmony with each other, our light grows exponentially brighter. When we begin to feel overwhelmed or outnumbered by the enemy’s attacks, let’s remember that when just two or three unite in submission to Christ, we are already in the majority. We are more than conquerors in Christ, but this isn’t a solo mission—our battles are meant to be fought in harmony with each other, voices lifted together as one light to pierce the darkness and reach the souls trapped inside.

Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you. Leviticus 26:8
