KK Slider’s weekly appearances are one of my favorite parts of Animal Crossing, and because his performances are so fun to experience it is disappointing that they are held so infrequently. Many of the coolest and most exciting events in Animal Crossing are exclusively held either once a week, once a season, or in some instances once a year… and while this does make these moments special, it also makes them moderately inaccessible. I appreciate all of KK Slider’s jam sessions as well as each of the incredible limited time offerings in Animal Crossing, but I wish they were available to me at more convenient times.
While our weekly gatherings with fellow believers and participating in seasonal events throughout the year are a special way to celebrate the love that we have for the Lord, the best part of our relationship with Him is that we don’t have to wait for these moments to experience His love and grace. Through Christ’s sacrifice the very throne room of God has been opened to us, making His presence available and accessible to us every day, at any hour that we need Him. He has chosen to make Himself approachable, relatable, and fully understanding of every part of our human experience. Let’s appreciate and embrace His open invitation today… we can experience Him at whatever time we choose to!
When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me. Psalm 63:6-8
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:15-16
