Huntrix: Hunters Hidden in Plain Sight

We are first introduced to the heroines of KPop Demon Hunters with the words, “The world will know you as pop stars, but you will be much more than that. You will be hunters”. The trio that forms “Huntrix” lives a duality of purpose, using the vocal gifts that they were born with to work undercover as warriors for the light, hidden in plain sight. To protect their world from the darkness seeking to consume it, they fight a daily battle across two fronts… being excellent at their day job while keeping their true mission at the front of their mind at all times. Their purpose was never to become famous, rich, or successful as singers… that was simply part of their “cover” as they used the platform that they were given to fulfill their true calling as hunters.

While we all have our versions of “day jobs” and responsibilities that may feel disconnected from our mission to seek and save souls for the Lord, the truth is all of these roles are just our “cover”. We are sent out as sheep in the midst of wolves, innocent in purpose but wise enough to discern and engage in the spiritual warfare surrounding us every day in this battlefield for souls. Whether our platform is a grocery line we are standing in, an emergency room waiting area, or speaking to thousands through social media, our assignment never changes… shine and share His light 🙂

Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17
