Do you remember that feeling of surprise you had the first time you found a hidden “secret” in a video game? Maybe it was the moment you bumped your head on an invisible block and received a new and exciting power-up, or discovered an item that unlocked a valuable shortcut… suddenly, our view of how to play the game shifted as we realized that we had been walking past countless incredible secrets the entire time. The best rewards were hidden in plain sight, waiting for us to become aware of them, pursue them, and unlock the game-changing treasures that they contained.

The Lord is willing and able to be found by all who search for Him, but He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek after Him. If we are running through these levels in life without intentionally dedicating time and attention to move beyond a superficial relationship with Him, we will miss out on the deepest rewards He offers. Our Father has more in store for us than what we can physically see, both in this life and the life to come… but we must actively pursue Him each and every day if we want to enjoy the fullness of all that He has prepared for us.

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
