The Best Secrets in the Game…

From the hidden warp pipes and whistles in the original Super Mario titles to the secret caches of loot in an Elder Scrolls title, developers have been hiding the most powerful items, weapons, and armor in their games for years… and only truly committed explorers will seek out and find them all. Sometimes a specific sequence must be followed to unlock these hidden items, and other times they are contained within an invisible block, hidden in plain sight. But if we want to find the best gear and unlock the coolest secrets in the game, we must move beyond the surface and apply ourselves to exploring every inch of the map… the best stuff is reserved for seekers.

Many times I have wished that the Lord would make Himself and His plans straight-forward and obvious to me, but He has chosen to only be truly “discovered” by those who are committed to actively searching for Him. The deepest wisdom in His Word and the most powerful “unlocks” are waiting to be found by those who explore beyond the surface level of salvation. He wants us to truly SEEK Him, even through the most difficult parts of our lives… because it is most often through these challenges that we are led down paths we wouldn’t have walked down otherwise, guiding us into a deeper knowledge of who our Heavenly Father truly is.

So that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, “For we are also His offspring.” Acts 17:27-28

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
