When Microsoft first announced their plan to deliver a “cloud gaming” experience, allowing gamers the ability to stream entire games without downloading them first, I was pretty skeptical. Most games are HUGE, taking up multiple GB of space… but if we possess the bandwidth to support the direct delivery of this data, the current Xbox models are designed to both receive and display these games through their access to a powerful cloud server that loads exactly what we need in a continuous feed as our progress requires it. We just have to maintain a persistent connection to enjoy the benefits of gaming through the cloud.
The thought of acting as an ambassador of Christ in our daily lives can feel overwhelming, but we aren’t expected to know what to say or do in advance. The Lord has promised He will send guidance from “the cloud” in our times of need, reminding us of the Scriptures that we’ve read and giving us His power and wisdom in every situation. If we consciously maintain an intentional connection to Him and offer our bodies as a conduit of His grace, His Spirit will work through us to deliver everything we need.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26
But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. Luke 21:13-15
Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say. Luke 12:11-12
