This might sound dumb, but one of the things I miss the most about the early Nintendo years was the “Nintendo Power” magazine… from cool tips and tricks to assist me in my current games to providing information on upcoming releases, this publication was a monthly must read. When I wasn’t in a position to engage in my hobby, I could still saturate myself with the articles within its’ pages, discovering all new adventures to take on and gaining insight from trusted fellow gamers. I even carried it around with me in public without shame, because I wanted to have access to it wherever I was.

The most valuable and important resource we possess in life is the written Word of God… the eternal wisdom it presents for both application in our daily lives as well as gaining insight on the Almighty Himself is a gift we can often take for granted because of its accessibility. If we truly understood the power of the Bible to both change our life and the lives of others, we’d spend time in it every day, taking it everywhere without any sense of shame. It prepares us for our next adventure while helping us process our last one… let’s absorb some wisdom today.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
