The Pokémon franchise is one of the largest on the planet, captivating massive audiences for years to explore each game with one mission in mind… “Gotta catch ‘em’ all!” But finding and catching all these Pokémon isn’t easy or automatic… we don’t simply set a Pokémon trap out on the ground, go home and relax, and wait for one to find it and step in it. They aren’t going to come find us, so we have to get out of our comfort zone and search for them where they are at. Every Pokémon is unique, and if we truly want to “catch them all”, we are choosing to embark on a sacrificial journey of seeking and finding them on their terms.

If we truly want to reach souls for Christ, we must meet them where they are… the great commission was a command to GO, not sit back and wait for them to come to us. We have each been charged with bringing the full truth, love, hope, and grace of Christ to the entire world… not how we prefer to share it, but in the way that others are most prepared to receive it. Christ went out of His way to share His love in a customized manner to each soul He met, and He has called each of us to do the same.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20

For though I am free from all me , I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 1 Corinthians 9:19-22
