The Pikmin series features some of the most unique protagonists in all of gaming… these tiny beings are individually pretty weak and helpless, and at first glance the world around them seems too large and hostile for them to survive. But the secret to their survival is that they never face these challenges alone… they combine their various strengths together to compliment each others weaknesses, taking on these super-sized challenges as one unified “body”. These seemingly insignificant souls who wouldn’t stand a chance by themselves became an overwhelming force that changed their world… all because they chose to unite together as one to follow one master’s voice.

As individuals, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by the challenges of the world around us and under-qualified for the missions we are called to… but that’s because we weren’t designed to take these on alone. In the body of Christ, our differences are necessary and meant to be complimentary… and when we choose to place our limited capabilities in the Master’s hands, put aside our agendas, and unselfishly work together for His purpose, mountains move.

For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Romans 12:4-5

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. 1 Corinthians 1:26-29
